Faculty Spotlight

Professor Vaughn is an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Rhode Island. Vaughn worked with Brown University’s Cardiovascular team in the Coronary Care Unit and has additional experience managing a philanthropic clinic that provided surgery to marginalized populations with cleft lip and palate and other craniofacial anomalies. She developed the Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program for Husson to address the deficit of acute care nurse practitioners throughout the nation.
