The B.S. in Wildlife Care and Rehabilitation prepares graduates to apply biological, behavioral, ethical, and evidence-based principles to address real-world challenges in wildlife welfare, rehabilitation, and conservation. After completion, graduates can pursue careers with government agencies, NGOs, rehabilitation centers, zoological facilities, and research institutions.

AB 321 Introduction to Wildlife Care and Management
In this course, students learn about the care and management of wildlife in captive settings, structured around the theme of animal welfare.
AB 333 Animal Disease
In this course, students study infectious and non-infectious diseases in animals, including causes, transmission, symptoms, and treatment, while analyzing host–parasite relationships and the role of vectors in zoonotic disease.
AB 421 Designing Captive Wildlife Experiences
In this course, students learn about the design of captive wildlife experiences, and it functions as the capstone for the Captive Wildlife Care Certificate program.
CON 346 North American Wildlife
In this course, students learn about the distribution, natural history, and identification of the major game species of North America, plus some selected non-game species.
